A Story: A Broken Heart
ok. Let me tell you a story.
A long long time ago, there was a girl, lets call her Bonnie. She went to a new school and started liking this guy called Henry. One day, Henry texted Bonnie and asked if Bonnie liked him. Bonnie said yes, and Henry said he liked her too. However, Bonnie was later to realise that Henry was a fickle person.Anyways, Bonnie asked Henry out, thinking that since they liked each other, why not? So they went out. And then, 3 days later, Henry told Bonnie's best friend that he did not like her. Bonnie vowed to get over Henry. But failed. It seemed like a good thing because a few days later, Bonnie's friend ,Dylan told Bonnie that Henry liked Bonnie a little. That day, a tuesday, was filled with joy for Bonnie. She was happy and Henry was very nice to her. However, in chinese class, Henry said "Oh! You wear contacts! My girlfriend wears contacts."Bonnie's heart sank. She wanted to die. But she clung on to a ray of hope that Henry liked her. And that this girlfriend was a lie. Or that he did not like his girlfriend that much (he does that a lot, he will go out with anyone). The next day, wednesday, Bonnie was hanging out with her best friend. She walked around a bit and heard Henry's best friend say "Sorry Bonnie, Henry's got another girl."Bonnie pretended to be cool and said "Do you think I care?"Henry's best friend said "You do."Bonnie ignored Henry's best friend. She could lie to herself, as long as she did not see it herself. And she had seen it with her eyes that day. She knew. Henry was going out with someone else. Bubt still, Bonnie's face was impassive. But like they always did, Bonnie knew her eyes were doors to her soul. In the dim light, she hoped that Henry could not see her eyes, or the tears that were collecting in her eyelids. And she also knew that she could not decive herself. Henry had seen her eyes. So had his girlfriend and best friend. They knew. Her heart was breaking. She made it to the bathroom, then she locked herself in a stall. Some 15 minutes later, she muffled her sobs, blew her nose and walked out. She pretended that nothing was wrong. But no one believed her. All her friends knew. It had to do with Henry. She tried to make her eyes happy. She failed. Again. Her eyes were always windows. Anyone could see through them. Bonnie's friends knew that console was not needed. Bonnie would pull herself through. Even if she did not, she would not show it. And, even if they gave her advice, she would not take it.Like my story? Try to fill in the gaps. The names of the certain Bonnie and Henry.
I bet you don't have to think to guess my emotional status.
*post note*last few paragraphs were COMEPLETLY exxagerated. I mean, it was true... well... some of it was a bit well... exxagerted.
